Art exhibitions, private views, concerts, screenings, readings and one-night performances, each one posted by the artist, gallery, venue or collective putting it on. Nothing here is aggregated from a press release. The person who submitted the event owns the listing, keeps the dates right, and posts updates against it while the run is still on.

A listing carries a start date and, where there is one, an end date, so a show that runs for six weeks reads differently from a Thursday opening. There is an address and usually a pin on a map, a price or the word free, a gallery of images, and an updates tab the submitter can post to when the hang changes or a talk gets added.

Filter by city, by art form and by style, so you can see what one place has on without reading past everything else. Follow an event and its updates come to your feed in the order they were posted. Where a listing has a ticket link it points straight at the organiser's own site. Spanish Artists carries the announcement, not the transaction.

Most art events leave almost no trace once the run ends. The poster comes down, the Instagram post sinks, and six months later nobody can tell you who showed. Here the listing stays attached to the profile of whoever submitted it, so a show you catch leads to the artist, the venue that gave them the wall, and whatever they do next.
