Fashion Events: Shows, Pop-ups and Workshops

Fashion events put up by the people running them: runway shows and presentations, pop-ups, sample sales, open studio days, and sewing or pattern cutting workshops. Nothing on this list is invited or vetted. A designer with a date to announce enters it, and it sits in the same list as everyone else's.

A fashion date is rarely only a show. The listings include twenty minute presentations in a studio, sample sales in a borrowed shop, trunk shows, open workroom days during a production season, and classes where you cut a block, sew a toile or dye a length of cloth yourself.

Each entry carries its own date, place and description, plus whatever link the organiser added. Where an event needs a ticket, that link goes out to the organiser's own page and the arrangement is with them. A two day pop-up is the kind of thing you pass to one person rather than announce, and sharing a listing does exactly that. The calendar itself reads without an account.

Fashion runs on a calendar that is not the art calendar. Collections are shown months before anyone wears them, so a March date usually points at the following winter, and the classes fill the quieter weeks between. If you want something to do rather than something to look at, the workshop entries are the ones with room in them.
