Life drawing sessions, painting workshops, exhibitions, private views and open studios, each with a date and an address. The listing is entered by the artist, gallery or studio putting it on, which is why the details read like a note from an organiser instead of a press release.

The listings are short-lived by nature. A private view is one evening, a show hangs for two or three weeks, an untutored life drawing group meets the same night every week with a model and a timer, and a plein air session depends on the weather holding. Workshops run for a single afternoon or a whole term.

The listings point outward. Each one links to the organiser's own page, where the address, the hours and any conditions live, and their profile carries the email and phone they published. Whether a session takes people who just turn up, or wants a name first, is a question for them, and you ask it directly.

Painting events are announced late and locally, which is the main reason they are hard to find at all. A studio settles on a life drawing night three weeks out; a project space confirms a show once the previous one comes down. Listings entered by the people running them appear at that point, not in a season brochure printed in the autumn.
